In 2010, Adeline Rispal completed the rehabilitation of the east wing of the Army Museum. The project reconciled the heritage, architectural and museographic dimensions in order to articulate the different reading degrees of this complex ensemble, and to meet the demand for versatility in certain spaces.
The collections on display required contextualization and, sometimes, very long labels. We had to integrate these labels while ensuring that they were easy to read and did not obstruct the artwork, and chose to treat them with transparent adhesives. A highly precise lighting work was necessary to guarantee a pleasant reading.
